What's the point in loving, or even getting into a relationship? It doesn't matter if it's with a guy or if it's with a girl. Heterosexual or not, most relationships are the same.

You catch that special someone by the eye, and after a long time of courting - spending way too much money on handphone bills and going out for countless awkward hormonally-driven dates - you get together, and then stress yourselves out a week before each month's anniversary. How is it meaningful if each and every single month you celebrate the day you sold your life to your other half? It's no wonder people lose the passion so quickly.

The two of you quarrel and then break up and oh isn't this the same for every single relationship? It's too much energy and pain to deal with. Love is overrated and all those walks on the beach and the romantic dates and the holding of hands and the whispering of sweet nothings into each other's ears and the gazing into each other's eyes and.. yeah. It's so meaningless.

Why give your heart to someone when that someone'll go off to somewhere far away with it, and not return anything? I refuse to be a part of it. I'll keep my heart to myself, thank you very much.
