I realise, looking through my old entries, that I have had my share of highs and lows. Yes that's the obvious. But what I'm trying to say is that in looking through them, I realise the importance and value of the duality of mankind, and that above all, it should be embraced.

Sure, there are those amongst us who are intellectually and character-wise pretty monodimensional. Granted that they have their reasons for ending up that way, and that I may not have the full picture myself, but I haven't the energy nor the spirit to talk about that for now. Maybe some other time.

But yes, back to the duality of Man and the value it possesses. The Jekyll and Hyde in all of us exists. We all have a Jessica and and a Nikki Sanders within us and it's important for us to acknowledge their existence and their necessity in our lives, in order for us to be self-aware, and for us to take full responsibility over our actions, thoughts and words. We must know, before we can speak, or we lose all credibility and right to call ourselves the Higher Species. We are who we are by the choices we make, and by all that we know.

We cannot possess the right to speak, think or act, without knowing. And knowledge comes from the acknowledgment of our lack of knowledge.

Knowing, and not knowing. Feeling and thinking. Positivity and negativity. Strength and weakness. All opposing forces and abstract concepts in us and in our lives that keep us functioning in proper form.

Duality must be embraced, I stand.
